TS GENCO ASSISTANT ENGINEERS RECRUITMENT(2023)
The Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Ltd.[TSGENCO] has released the notification for the direct recruitment of 339 -Assistant Engineers[Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Civil] Posts.

Note:
- The vacancies notified are subject to variation, based on work exigencies and necessity; and shall be filled-up, duly following the “Rule of Reservation”, in terms of Service Rules/Regulations, in vogue.
- The vacancies notified are purely confined to the Power Generating Stations [Thermal & Hydel] across the TSGENCO, situated in Zone-I and Zone-II. Therefore, the aspirants who are willing to work in the Power Generating Stations alone may apply, as the aspirants coming up for selection through the selection process, shall be posted to the respective Power Generating Stations [Thermal & Hydel], where they shall be required to work throughout the entire service in the TSGENCO and will not be considered for posting in Hyderabad.
4)EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-
(i) Assistant
Engineer(Electrical):- Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Electrical
Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering of a
recognized University in India established or
incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial
Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the
University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any other
qualification recognized as equivalent thereto [or] a
Pass in Sections “A” & “B” of AMIE (India) Examination
conducted by the Institution of Engineers in Electrical;
Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
(ii)Assistant Engineer(Mechanical):- Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical
Engineering of a recognized University in India
established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or
Provincial Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized
by the University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any
other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto [or]
a Pass in Sections “A” & “B” of AMIE (India) Examination
conducted by the Institution of Engineers in Mechanical
Engineering.
(iii)Assistant Engineer(Electronics):- Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Electronics &
Communication Engineering/Instrumentation Controls
Engineering/Electronics & Control Engineering/
Instrumentation & Power/Power Electronics of a
recognized University in India established or
incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act,
or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the
University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any other
qualification recognized as equivalent thereto [or] a Pass
in Sections “A” & “B” of AMIE (India) Examination
conducted by the Institution of Engineers in Electronics
Engineering.
(iv)Assistant Engineer(Civil):- Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering of
a recognized University in India established or
incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act,
or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the
University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any other
qualification recognized as equivalent thereto [or] a Pass
in Sections “A” & “B” of AMIE (India) Examination
conducted by the Institution of Engineers in Civil
Engineering.
Note: “Equivalent Qualifications” – At the time of verification of Certificates, if it is
noticed that any applicant possessing other than the prescribed Qualifications and
claims that it is an equivalent to the prescribed Qualification, then an Expert
Technical Committee will be constituted. The Committee will go into the details of the
subjects studied therein vis-a-vis recognition accorded under Central Act or State Act
or Provincial Act or Institutions recognized by UGC/AICTE; and take a decision as to its
equivalency or otherwise. The decision of the Technical Committee in this regard shall
be final and binding on such applicants/claimants and no grievances or correspondence
thereof in this regard shall be entertained under any circumstances.
5)AGE:- Minimum 18 years & Maximum 44 years. The age will be reckoned as
on 01-07-2023.
6)FEE:-
- Application processing Fee:- Each applicant must pay an amount of Rs.400/-(Rupees Four Hundred only) towards ONLINE application processing fee.
- Examination Fee:- The applicants have to pay an amount of Rs.300/-(Rupees Three Hundred Only) towards “Examination Fee”.
- However, the applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC/EWS and Physically Challenged categories are exempted from payment of “Examination Fee”. Mere exemption from payment of examination fees does not confer any right on the candidate to treat them as belonging to SC/ST/BC/EWS and PH Categories.
Note:-
- The applicants belonging to other States are not exempted from payment of “Examination Fee”.

➤ Hall-tickets can be downloaded 07 (seven) days prior to the Date of Examination.
➤ Date of Examination: 17-12-2023(Sunday)
➤The Duration of the Examination will be 2 Hours [120 Minutes].
- The TSGENCO reserves the right to reschedule the date of examination.
