TSRTC HAS ADDED 50 NEW SUPER LUXURY BUSES INTO IT'S FLEET

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation(TSRTC) has inducted 50 New BS6 Super Luxury Buses which are Non-AC Seater Buses out of 630 Super Luxury buses into it's fleet on Saturday(i.e., on 24th December 2022).

➣In the Phase-1, the management has called for the tenders for the purchase of 1,016 new buses at a cost of Rs.392 Crores in the current FY, which includes 630 Super Luxury, 130 Deluxe and 16 Sleeper Buses which are expected to available for the passengers before March-2023, which will be used as Intrastate and Interstate services.
➣This is the largest addition to the fleet after 2017-18.
➣The New fleet was inaugurated in the Hyderabad on the Tankbund by the Hon'ble Transport Minister for the state along with the TSRTC Chairman, Vice Chairman and other Senior Officials.

➣These New Super Luxury buses are fully built in by the MG Automotive(MG ALMA Group),one of top bus body builders in INDIA. These are supplied by the Ashok Leyland company who awarded the tender to supply theses buses. These are built on the Ashok Leyand Viking(VK2011) BS6 Chasis. Earlier TSRTC used to purchase the Bus Chasis from the OEMs and built the body in there own Bus Body Building Unit(BBU) at Miyapur.
➣Along with the SL's, As per the Passengers request and demand, for the First time, TSRTC is inducting A/c and Non A/c Sleeper Coaches into it's fleet, which are going to inaugurate shortly. Earlier TSRTC use to purchase and run only Semi sleeper buses for the inter state transport service.
